Western & #HongKong press circulated footage of a HK police officer pointing a gun at protesters last night, but almost none have shared the complete footage showing why he did this. Surrounded by protesters, what would have happened if he hadn't defended himself?
But a video obtained by the Global Times shows several officers surrounded by a group of protesters inside a garage near Kwai Chung police station. Protesters threw umbrellas, bottles and other items at the officer, putting his life in danger.
